Shared Memories of Nusach Hari

An excellent account of the Frierdiker Rebbe’s 1930 visit to Detroit and Nusach H’Ari Synagogue during the Great Depression is related here.

Rabbi Isaac Eskin was my great grandfather and is likely the Rabbi mentioned here.

His son, Rabbi Herbert Eskin was a Rabbi in Port Huron and at Beth Achim. He was an army chaplain. Are there any records of Isaac Eskin’s time in Detroit?

Thank you
JM
