Shul" by Phyllis and Morris N. Embedded on a side
street a block east of the I-75, the now relatively isolated
neighbhorhood would have once stood in the midst of a
large contiguous district between the big commercial
streets of Hasting, now the I-75 expressway, and Oakland.
