What it is. PayPal allows individuals to make secure payments to each other, though the internet, using their credit card accounts without having to obtain and pay ridiculous fees for a merchant's credit card account.
How it works. Clicking the DONATE button takes you to the PayPal website where you can enter a donation amount. You then fill out a credit card payment form just as you would with any online shopping situation. The transaction takes place quickly on a secure server and your donation is directly transferred into my @DETROIT account. Your credit card information is kept private, even from me.
